Rage Sewn Vest

I’ve been rage sewing. A lot. My hands needed to be busy through these sickening times. A break from weaving, a project with just enough mental trial, physical exertion, time from start to finish, & purpose in the end result. So, vests.

 As always, the handmade pricing struggle is real, but also f*ck capitalism. They each took between 3.5 & 6.5 hours to make, not accounting for materials at all. I’d love to be paid for my time, but even more I want community & shared skills, joy in the little big things like pockets & stamina for continued darker times ahead. I know many can’t afford my products & I made these to get through grim days anyway.

Fully lined (actually reversible) vests, adorned with a suitable bounty of pockets. Crafted from my arsenal of fabrics, much of it vintage, donated, a lot hand-dyed &/or handwoven. To be loved as-is or a beginning canvas to add to.
