Welcome to Bri Weaves
handwoven for all
Briana Frederick is a weaver, wife, human & goat mama in Louisville, Kentucky. She brings together varied fibers, textures & colors to create functional wearable art, most often in the form of cowls, scarves & neckerchiefs. She also has two Nigora goats, Betty & Boon, who produce fiber for many pieces.
Each warp is uniquely named, & the pieces made are much like siblings; same yarns in one direction (the warp), but different yarns in the other (the weft), resulting in one-of-a-kind finished works, all part of the greater handwoven family by Bri Weaves.
Newest Release
The Just Keep Swimming Warp. Because some days that's all we got. This warp is done in True Winter colors. A few other neckerchiefs are with Erica Lewis, a local printmaker, to play with, our collab is in the works (hint hint; 🖕🧊, etc). A solid white warp is on the loom now for many more canvases for them to print on.
