The Future is Queer Warp

The Future is Queer Warp (so is the past and present of course, but we only gettin’ more queer from here). I am so in love with the generations after me embracing the vastness of the spectrum of identity, sexuality & so boldly being OUT. Even growing up in hella liberal Southern California I knew nothing beyond gay & straight. Like many I thought bisexuals were just confused & Eddie Izzard was my only exposure to gender bending. I knew nothing of the trans community. I never realized my femininity or sexuality, simply accepted the default which happened to work out for me. I am SO GRATEFUL for the babies after me, the crayola box of pronouns available & that my kids might enter puberty with attraction to humans not genders. I live a cis-het presenting life & all the privilege that comes with it. I am happily married but damn am I grateful to realize I'm also queer. And it's thanks to the courage of those who came after me. Fuck the idea that you can erase human identity & fuck the attacks on communities whose only crime is living authentically. 

Every day is heartbreaking & my woven wares don’t change the very real threat to very real humans, but anything that brings any of us joy is proving this fucked system wrong, no matter how small. Sorry I'm not more organized about it, but if it's important for you to know, I'm donating from my meager business to people & communities in need as often as possible.
